Although this is labelled as a fashion segment when speaking about the style of Carrie Fisher it’s about that but much more than that.

I admired not only the way with which she put herself together but also the style in which she lived her life. Suffering from mental health problems, Carrie never shied away from talking about her struggled and used her platform to try and educate and help others.

I’ve intentionally stayed away from showing that Star Wars bikini in this piece as I’m more focused on the style of Carrie Fisher the person – not Princess Leia. And my god did she have some style – equally glamourous in tomboy outfits and sleek numbers on the red-carpet Carrie Fisher always seemed to be herself.

I’ve also shared some photos of her home – eccentric, fun and colourful, her interior really reflects her personality and looks like it was a fun place to hang out.

I’ve included in this post some Carrie Fisher inspired art and gifts – I’m sure she would be proud of still inspiring people to create.
