INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: SEAN THORNHILL

While researching for my Abstract Art blog post I discovered a lot of amazing artists and Sean Thornhill was one of them. I love the simplicity of the style of these artworks, but they are deceptively simple because anyone who has tried to create abstract artworks themselves know that this balance is very difficult to achieve. I also love the fact that the artworks keep the same style across different mediums, built up in 3D, pressed into paper, framed, stamped and painted. I love this use of creativity and something I used to play with in my own art, taking the same image or idea and recreating it in different ways to find which one left best.
