INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: A TINY RENOVATED APARTMENT
I always find it fascinating to see what people do with small homes and how creative people can be with space. This apartment is a great example. I have no idea how people can keep things so tidy and spacious looking with limited space. Here are some of the things I love about this apartment:
The open shelving in the kitchen looks so organised and tidy and not at all cluttered
The wooden cabinetry is so uniform and tidy and gives a lot of storage in a small space
The shelves near the ceiling add more space for important things like plants and books
Natural materials in every room from the dining room seating, lamp shades and all that wonderful natural wood
Books used as art on the walls
The wonderful use of space by having that beautiful sofa in the corner and look at he detail of how the arm rests just under that large window
The bespoke wooden bookshelves are beautifully made and match all the other wooden elements in the house
The pops of yellow/mustard coloured elements that make the home flow and feel like a whole, especially the sofa and the curtains in the bathroom
The gold elements in the bathroom, and that round light is amazing
I love that we can see the before images here, it shows such a stark and unwelcoming space and the transformation is a feat of creativity and innovation which truly makes the space look like a home.
