INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: A GREENHOUSE IN TASMANIA
Have you ever wanted to know what it would be like to live in a greenhouse – this space comes pretty close. You’ll know that I love a greenhouse aesthetic, anything that is more outside than inside and lets the sun in, a sunroom or an atrium or a conservatory. Even though my conservatory is falling apart and way too too hot in the summer it’s still my favourite place to sit and watch the birds outside. I made a whole blog post about greenhouses, you can see it here… Anyway more about this space, it’s a greenhouse but modern, with so much glass and those black frames. And on the inside the black lines are softened by the huge woven light features, that remind me of big bird cages. I love the way the kitchen shelves match the frames and allow light to come in through their gaps. And the position of that beautiful bath tub is to die for. And I love the tiles, such a wonderful design and is it me or does it match the design on the grates? Such attention to detail is what great design is all about.
