INSPIRATION: INTERIORS: MELBOURNE’S 1930S CAIRO FLATS

I feel like smaller homes with character and style don’t get featured as much as larger places and so I thought I’d share with you something different today. This 1930s apartment is small but so cute. It’s airy and the whole building is like something I’ve never seen before.

First of all I love a brick building and I love buildings from the 1930s (including my own home) although there are so many different styles that it’s almost not worth saying.
The yellow features are such a bright and unusual twist that just make the doors and railings pop. The curved balconies are probably my favourite part with the big windows that let in so much light and a view of the beautiful trees outside.
I love the simplicity of the space and the round dining table fits in with the style so well.
My only worry if I was to live there is that I would need more space for books.
